This whimsical tea infuser is designed by Michael Graves for Alessi. Made of 18/10 Stainless Steel. measures 2.7cm x 12cm. Graves's personal formal language combines ideas taken from European tradition, Art Deco, American Pop Art and memories of pre-Colombian cultures. 

Michael Graves was born in Indianapolis, he taught architecture at Princeton since 1962. His architectural works include the Portland Building and the Humana Building, the extension of the Whitney Museum of American Art, and the Newark Museum. He created the best-selling 9093 kettle for Alessi. Michael Graves died in 2015.
