Black rabbit fur adorns this simple, stunning brass chain necklace by Saskatchewan artist Marcy Friesen.  She reclaims the small pieces of fur often left unused from larger projects and utilizes them in a purposeful way. 

Marcy Friesen is based out of Carrot River, Saskatchewan.  She was influenced in her early years by her grandmothers who had a love of traditional beadwork.  Her materials are sourced locally, such as the pelts from Saskatchewan trappers.
