Set of two espresso mugs and saucers depicting Picasso's famous 'Buste de Femme au Chapeau' on the front.  Picasso dedicated this portrait to his wife at the time, Jacqueline Rocque, with whom he had been married less than a year. The linogravure, painted in 1962 in Mougins, France, stands for the Cubist representation of reality, the expressiveness of the face, the roundness and strength of strokes and the use of vibrant colors that become another main feature of the work.  This original Picasso linocut is a part of Remai Modern's foremost collection of Picasso linocuts made possible by the Frank and Ellen Remai foundation.  This image is part of Remai Modern's collection of Picasso linocuts donated by the Frank and Ellen Remai Foundation.
