Mitsoh (pronounced “meat-so”) which means “to eat” in Cree, is an Indigenous-owned brand dedicated to restoring, preserving, and sharing traditional Indigenous foods. They specialize in dry meat, pemmican strips, and traditional bannock, all made using real ingredients and time-honoured methods.
Mitsoh was founded in 2018 by Ian Gladue, inspired by his mother’s long-standing tradition of making dry meat and pemmican. These recipes and techniques have been passed down through generations, and Ian’s mission is to share these authentic Indigenous foods with the world.
