William Kentridge Cup & Saucer. A recurring motif in his work, William Kentridge has brought this cup and saucer to life.

Kentridge has drawn the rings for this cup and saucer in the same blue pastel used in the animated film Weighing… and Wanting (1998) one of the eleven Drawings for Projection. During the film, Soho Eckstein, the semi-autobiographical protagonist, lifts the cup to his ear and listens intently as though the cup contains a voice.

Each set is made in fine bone china and printed in the UK.
