One of a kind mittens made with moose hide and coyote fur. Featuring a beaded loon motif. Charity Dunn is a Cree artist from Treaty 8 Territory who lives and works on Treaty 6 Territory and the traditional homeland of the Métis. She began creating beaded mitts to keep her children warm during outdoor winter activities. After making her first pair for her son, she discovered a passion for beading and sewing.

Charity now creates one-of-a-kind mitts, moccasins, and mukluks using a variety of hides and furs. Her beadwork is inspired by the land, including her experiences gathering berries and medicines in the bush. Through years of self-teaching, she has developed her craft and now creates custom pieces for people across Canada.
