Journal of the Plague Year(s): 2020-2023 is produced in conjunction with Saskatoon-based artists Dawna Rose and Betsy Rosenwald’s exhibition at Remai Modern, presented from November 19, 2022 – February 20, 2023 (with an extension to March 5 due to popular demand). Generously illustrated and with essays by the artists, Joan Borsa, Joseph R. Wolin and Michelle Jacques, this book is a lively and insightful exploration of Rose and Rosenwald’s collaborative project beginning with its first presentation in February 2021. It also includes a multipage foldout that illustrates the Remai Modern exhibition, including three years of the Journal, the beginnings of the artists’ large-scale wall work, and the community response wall, “And Another Thing.”
